Update, May 6: Officials have announced new pop-up sites for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine around Miami. More details are included below.

Ready for this pandemic to be over? The Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 shot is pretty much the quickest route to your post-vax life. Because the vaccine requires only one dose, you can get your shot and be considered fully vaccinated two weeks later.

While the two-dose Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are a bit more effective at preventing symptomatic cases of COVID, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is still a great option, especially for the needle-phobic or anyone who might not be able to take two days off of work to get jabbed.

If you’re a Florida resident 18 or older, you’re eligible for a (free!) Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Here’s where to find it.

Miami Dade College North Campus

As of Sunday, April 25, Florida’s federal vaccination site at Miami Dade College’s North Campus has resumed its use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The site, located at 11380 NW 27th Ave., is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. No appointments are necessary.

Although you no longer have to provide proof of Florida residency, you will be asked to verbally attest that you live or work in Florida.

Publix offers both the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the Moderna vaccine. Appointments can be made online.

Miami Beach pop-up (Sunday, May 9 only)

The City of Miami Beach is hosting two pop-up sites for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine on Sunday, May 9. No appointments are necessary.

The South Beach site will be located on the sand at the 15th Street beach from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until supplies run out. The North Beach site will be at the Normandy Fountain, 1025 71st St., from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., or until supplies run out.

North Miami pop-up (Sunday, May 9 only)

The City of North Miami is hosting a one-day vaccination event at Griffing Community Center, 12220 Griffing Blvd., on Sunday, May 9. The J&J vaccine will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. No appointments are necessary.

Downtown Miami pop-up (Tuesday, May 11 only)

Miami Dade College is sponsoring another Johnson & Johnson pop-up at its Wolfson Campus at 300 NE Second Ave. in Kyriakides Plaza. Shots will be administered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11. No appointments are necessary.

Little Havana pop-up (Thursday, May 13 only)
